Hybrid Services to present Mimaki’s TRAPIS System at textile event
19 December 2024
Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland, has announced that it will host a two-day textile event at its Cheshire showroom on 29th and 30th January 2025.
As part of the global TRAPIS roadshow, the event will provide UK customers with their first opportunity to see Mimaki’s revolutionary TRAPIS textile printing system in action.
The open house format allows visitors to drop in at their convenience, with scheduled TRAPIS (short for Transfer Pigment System) demonstrations taking place throughout both days. Guests will also have the chance to explore Mimaki’s extensive textile printing range, including direct-to-film (DTF) printing and entry-level, production, and industrial dye sublimation solutions.
Joining Hybrid Services at the event will be AVA CAD/CAM, specialists in design and colour management software, and Premier Digital Textiles, suppliers of innovative digitally prepared fabrics. Together, the three companies will offer a comprehensive insight into the latest advancements in textile printing and production workflows.
“We’re delighted to bring the global TRAPIS roadshow to the UK,” says Andy Gregory, Hybrid’s Sales Director. “This event offers an excellent opportunity for visitors to experience Mimaki’s groundbreaking TRAPIS system while also learning more about how our complementary textile solutions can enhance their production capabilities.”
Mimaki TRAPIS is set to transform textile workflows with its groundbreaking waterless digital textile printing technology. Using a simple two-step process, TRAPIS enables eco-friendly and efficient printing by transferring designs from special transfer paper to fabric with virtually no water, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional methods. The event at Hybrid provides a unique platform for customers to see its benefits first-hand. With the added expertise of AVA CAD/CAM and Premier Digital Textiles on hand, visitors will gain valuable insights into integrating advanced technologies into their businesses.
