Stora Enso invests in its corrugated packaging production in Ostrołęka, Poland

Stora Enso invests Euro 30 million to upgrade and grow its corrugated packaging production in Ostrołęka, Poland. Stora Enso’s corrugated products are currently being used in many industry segments, such as food and beverage, electronics, furniture and e-commerce.

The investment further strengthens Stora Enso’s position as a leading provider of renewable materials with the new cost-competitive capacity. With its new 2.8 meter width corrugator and other upgrades in Ostrołęka, Poland, Stora Enso will meet the growing customer demand for sustainable packaging solutions and increase the efficiency of its operations at Ostrołęka. The investment will also enable the company to strengthen the integration with its containerboard business.

Work on site is expected to start in Q3 2024 and be completed in the end of 2025.

Stora Enso Corrugated Plant in Poland is part of The Packaging Solutions division, a packaging converter that provides fiber-based packaging products and services used by leading brands across multiple markets, including retail, e-commerce, fresh produce, and industrial applications.
